I l0ve your column, it’s really impressive. After my father died four years ago, h!s friend has been the one supporting my mother and I. Last year, our landlord gave us a quit notice and my late father’s friend offered us accommodation in h!s home. He and h!s wife were very kind to us. I was very happy and comfortable with them until their son returned from the U.S. He pressurised me to be h!s lover and I told him that wasn’t possible. He eventually r*ped me and deflowered me in the process.

Below is Aunty Temi’s reply to Jane…
To say I was aghast when I read Jane’s message is to say the least. I called h-er on the phone and inquired if there’s someone sh-e could tell h-er ordeal if sh-e no longer felt safe living there and sh-e told me there was no one sh-e could open up to except me. I empathised with h-er and advised h-er to tell h-er r*pist’s mother. At first sh-e was very scared and hesitant until he r*ped h-er a second time and the thought of getting pregnant scared h-er.

When sh-e informed me about the second r*pe incident, I had to convince h-er to report the incident to the boy’s mother assuring h-er that as God lives, sh-e would never regret h-er action. Surprisingly, sh-e reported the case to the boy’s mother the following day and sent me this text:

I called you severally today but you didn’t pick your phone. I actually wanted to tell you that I told h!s mum about it. sh-e was so @ngry with him and threatened to get him imprisoned next time he touches me and that he’ll be returning to the U.S. in the next two weeks. Thank you aunty Temi, I don’t know what I’d have done without you. And thank God the wom@n has been extra kind to me.

Jane may have been spared the nightmare of being forced to have s*x but I tell you h-er mother has laid a very b@d foundation for h-er. Now that Jane has just gained admission into the university and has inadequate funding for h-er needs, how on earth won’t sh-e be tempted when me-n offer to take care of h-er needs while sh-e “services” them in return?
